You train indoors, then head out to the Ticketmaster Tailgate while the lot is still filling up. The crowd is small and in a good mood, and you get your first few sales in before it matters.
Bras for Girls × Seahawks Spirit of 12
Sell raffle tickets. Fund sports bras.
Bras for Girls is one of twelve nonprofits chosen for the Seahawks Spirit of 12 program this season. Volunteers sell 50/50 raffle tickets at Lumen Field on gameday — half the pot goes to a lucky fan, half goes into a collective pot the twelve partners split at the end of the year.

Before you sign up: this is a full day
Check-in is about four hours before kickoff, and the raffle runs until the end of the third quarter. That’s roughly seven hours on your feet, much of it outdoors in December weather.
It’s a real commitment. It’s also genuinely fun, there’s a warm home base room with food, and last year each Spirit of 12 organization took home about $140,000 from this program.

The Seahawks tally volunteers by organization across the whole season, and the org with the most by season’s end wins a special prize. Volunteer at any Seahawks home game, list Bras for Girls when you register, and it counts toward our total.
What matchday is actually like
The timeline tells you where to be. This is what the day feels like.
Then it gets loud
Tens of thousands of people arrive at once. You’re holding a sign with the price points and walking up to strangers. The first few approaches feel awkward. By the tenth you’re shouting the number at people.
You’re part of a crew
Fifty-ish volunteers in matching neon shirts, with the Spirit of 12 logos on the back — ours included. Fans read them and ask what they’re funding.
The number lands
Selling stops after the third quarter. In the fourth, the total goes up on the board and the winner is announced. Seeing the jackpot you helped build is the part people come back for.

Your gameday schedule
Exact times come by email about a week before the game. Until then, try a likely kickoff.
Heads up
The raffle wraps at the end of the third quarter — not at halftime, and not at the final whistle. Post-kickoff times are estimates.
Home base
- The 50/50 Raffle Room is your home base all day, and someone is in it at all times.
- Cubbies under the counters hold your bag and belongings.
- Breakfast items are out when you arrive; hot food comes later in the day.
Breaks
- Best time to break is during the first or second quarter.
- Avoid breaking during peak selling — the run-up to kickoff, and halftime.
- At a kiosk, take turns so someone is always there.
Who can volunteer
- You must be 18 or older. Volunteers handle ticket sales and payment, so there are no exceptions.
- The Seahawks issue 20–30 credentials per Spirit of 12 partner per game.
- Wear your credential at all times and turn it in at the end of the day.
What to bring
- Comfortable shoes. You will be standing and walking for most of seven hours.
- Warm layers under your provided volunteer t-shirt.
- Snacks and water. Regular bags are fine for volunteers.
You’ll sell with a BUMP handheld device that takes tap, insert, and swipe. Training covers all of it on the day.
Taking payment
- Card only. No cash, ever. Tap-to-pay works.
- Canadian credit cards are accepted, as are away-team fans.
- Check the ticket printed fully before hitting confirm.
- A “COMM Error” means a network hiccup — check the connection and try again.
Rules on the floor
- Buyers must be 18 or older.
- Sellers and staff cannot buy tickets.
- Stay out of private areas — individual suites and the Club Reserve level.
- Respect all fans, home and away.
Don’t be shy
- Approaching people is the whole job, and it’s the difference between a small jackpot and a big one.
- Roamers especially: lines for food, drinks, and bathrooms are your best spots.
- The Ticketmaster Tailgate before gates open is a low-pressure place to find your rhythm.
If someone wins
- Redemption details are printed on the bottom of every receipt.
- Winners have 30 days to claim and don’t need to be present.
- The number is announced in the fourth quarter, then posted to social media.

How long is the day, really?
About seven hours. Check-in is roughly four hours before kickoff, and selling runs until the end of the third quarter. You’re on your feet for most of it.
Can I do a half shift?
The Seahawks build the day around a single volunteer group that trains together and works the full run. If a partial shift is the only way you can help, email us before you register.
Do I have to volunteer on December 7?
No. December 7 vs. the Cowboys is Bras for Girls Game Day, so it’s where we most need people. But you can sign up for any Seahawks home game and still have it counted for us.
How old do I have to be?
You must be 18 or older to volunteer. There are no exceptions — the Seahawks require it because volunteers handle ticket sales and payment. Buyers must also be 18 or older.
Do I get to watch the game?
Not really. You’ll be selling on the concourse through the end of the third quarter. You’re inside Lumen Field on gameday, but this isn’t a way to see a game — it’s a way to fund the mission.
Can I bring a friend?
Please do, and it makes the long day much better. Each person registers individually so they get credentialed, and each should list Bras for Girls.
What happens to the money?
Half of each pot goes to a randomly drawn fan. The other half goes into a collective pot that all twelve Spirit of 12 nonprofits split at the end of the year. Last year each organization received about $140,000.
